What Is The Recovery Period For Tonsils Removal In Children?

I have a two year old son that is going into surgery to have tubes in his ears and have his touncils removed (since he is constantly on antibiotics about 20 out of 30 days a month!) what foods will he be able to eat and usually how long does it take to recover?

Hi, thanks for asking. Just after the surgery he will be allowed ice creams. Then later on he will be allowed liquids. It will take about three to four days for him to be allowed to his regular diet.
