What Is The Reason To Feel That My Baby Is Going To Come Out Every Time I Urinate?

While peeing I feel a pop every so often but no extra fluids come out. I feel like the baby is going to almost fall out when it happens. As of last Tuesday I was 50% effaced not dilated and he is measuring in the 97th percentile. This is my first child and I have been having a lot of back pain.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Please mention how many weeks pregnant are you.
If you are near term, these are just symptoms of impending labour.
As you are 50 % effaced, dilatation will soon follow.
Back pain too is very common at term.
The pop is the baby's head that must be descending lower down in the pelvis.
The sensation of falling out implies very strongly that labour is near.
If you feel any fluid leaking out / bleeding, rush to the ER.
Time your contractions, and when the uterus starts hardening for more than 15 - 20 seconds at a time, you need to go to the Labour suite.
Do not worry if you have crossed 37 - 38 weeks.
Baby's maturity is not of concern at this point.
Take care.
