What Is The Reason Of Having Milky Taste In Mouth?

I have an odd milky aftertaste in my mouth that has been going on for a couple of days, and I've been taking some multivitamins in case I'm low on something but they don't seem to get rid of it, I've also been brushing my teeth quite regularly. I've tried different types of food and drink and it won't seem to go away, I've also been drinking lots of water.

Hi,

The milky taste in your mouth could be related to GI problems including:
- candida infection of the mouth
- gastric problems (gastritis, GERD)
- local teeth infection

I'd suggest to:
- do a culture of mouth swab for candida
- start gastric medications (omeprazole, antiacids, etc.)
- get checked by a dentist for teeth infection/abscess
- follow a healthy diet

If no improvement, should consult a GI specialist for further evaluation.

All the best!
