What Is The Reason For Sudden Increase In Weight And Stomach Discomfort?

Hi my name is Jose Bonilla I m 20 yrs old. In the past 8 months I ve gained 40 pounds and my stomache feels heavy especially at night. When I finish eating a normal portion meal. In about half an hour I m hungry again. My stool has little black flakes and I ve been having light diarrhea... Right now my stomache feels empty and I feel slight pressure in my upper stomache and it moves constantly. I m afraid I have have stomache parasites. I constantly have flatulence and it s veryyyyyyy bad...

Hello Mr. Jose Bonilla,
Welcome of HCM and thank you for posting your query.
The fact that you feel hungry and you eat every half an hour or is the cause of your weight gain. Now we have to consider why you feel hungry so often. When you have an acid related problem like a duodenal inflammation (duodenitis) or duodenal ulcer, you would feel a symptom when the acid buffering by the food is over and you interpret it as hunger. The black flakes in the stools can mean that there is oozing of blood from these lesions. It is possible that you have a bacteria called H.Pylori which can produce these problems.
You should also have a blood sugar done as Type 2 diabetes also can make you feel hungry and lead to weight gain form over eating.
If it is possible, you should see a gastroenterologist and have an upper GI endoscopy. If not possible get a urea breath test done.
The flatulence is from the large amount of food going into the large intestine where the bacteria multiply and produce gas.
I shall be happy to answer if you have more queries,
