i am 30 yrs old, For the past three years i have been experiencing severe hair loss ad thinning. Recently it got worse. i always had acne as well (i used to break out before my period). But now i am getting acne like a teenager. My face is covered with acne scars. I get my period every other month. i also have hair growing underneath my chin area. This is the first time i have noticed something like this. My skin and scalp is oily and itchy. i shed most hair a week before and during my period. And i also get tonsilitis, headache and severe dry cough around this time. My pillow, blanket, and entire room is covered with hair. i had blood work done last year and my doctor said my TSH, FSH, LH were all normal. At least thats what she told me. she also thinks i have no problem. I was working with a gynocologist and he told me i may have hirsutism.

i do have a lot of stress in my life. i dont sleep properly but i doubt stress alone can cause sudden severe hair loss. I have never been pregnant. when i was 18, my family physician told me i had PCOS cause my LH:FSH ratio was off. She put me on birth control for three months and aske dme to lose weight which i did. And after that she told me i was fine. Currently besides severe acne and hair loss, i have no other significant health problems. i am not taking any OCP, prescribed medication or vitamins now. So, please can anyone offer some advice as to why this is happening to me.
