Had colposcopy last week. Have had severe cramping lower right abdomen and throwing up since 2 am. My right leg went numb at one point for a few minutes. Should I go to er? Slowly getting better since two am but can hardly move and no medicine is helping.

Hi! Good evning. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

Severe cramping of lower right abdomen following a history of colonoscopy calls for a clinical examination of the patient by the treating doctor. Therefore, I would advise you to go the ER to get your self examined physically and also investigated if need be to rule out any intra abdominal problem.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
