What Is The Reason For Pain Below The Feet, Pain In Ankles, Numbness In The Thigh When Sleeping?

I think it may be that we need a new mattress (10 years old). Want to make sure. I started having a problem on the bottom of my feet very painful to walk on it. I would roll a can on the bottom of my foot. That went on for several weeks. My ankle aches on either side mainly when I do a lot of cleaning. When I go to sleep for the past week or so my thigh in the middle between the knee and hip tends to go numb when I lay to sleep. I sleep on my back; to avoid it I put a pillow in between my legs and try and lay on my right side

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
The pain and the numbness in your legs is likely to be due to a nerve root compression at the level of the spinal cord. You MRI scan of the back must have revealed such pathology. Bed rest and muscle relaxants with physiotherapy are recommended for proper treatment. What is status of your hypertension and sugar.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
