What Is The Reason For Missing Period While Taking Cerazette?

hi, i was wondering if i could seek your advice and assistance please, my last period was on the 16/10/2013, however it lasted two weeks, the bleeding wasn't heavy but iv found in the month of November i missed my period and still till this day i have not had one. I have been using Cerazette for over a year and have been taking it every day, however, due to my missed period, i took a pregnancy test "clearblue" and it's come out positive, yet i dont feel any symptoms of being pregnant.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Birth control, though highly effective, is not completely 100% effective in preventing pregnancy.

Home pregnancy tests are usually accurate in predicting pregnancy by day 11 to 15 after conception and if the test is stating that you are positive then this is likely the case.

Women experience pregnancy differently , some may have a number of different symptoms whereas others may not.

If you wish to confirm you can either do a repeat test or ask your doctor for a blood HCG level.

I hope this helps
