hello I have an unpleasant feeling/ vaguely metallic taste in my mouth. My dentist said it has nothing to do with my teeth - oral hygiene oK & fillings intact. I have no other ill health symptoms, or underlying problems that I'm aware of, am not on any medication & the only thing that seems to alleviate it is sleep & chewing gum. I've had it for about 3 weeks & haven't recently changed my diet. Thank you
Many times after a viral infection , the taste buds get damaged and this can cause the metallic taste in mouth. please dont worry as this normally revers in a week or two but can take 6 weeks also. You can take vitamin b complex and rinse your mouth with listerine mouth wash 2-3 times a day. it will help.
Thanks
