What Is The Reason For Having Recurring Bruise On Same Spot On Thigh?

I have a recurring bruise on the exact same spot on my thigh. I am a 20 year old female. The bruise will slowly come, stay a while, and then go away just to come back again. I've paid attention and have not run into anything any of the times. What could it mean?

Hello,

I can understand your concern for the recurring bruise on same spot on thigh.

Recurring bruise is bit common in young females of your age. It can also be due to certain medication which reduces the blood clotting functions. You can go for bleeding time, clotting time and platelet count. If these are normal then there is nothing to be worried about.

Meanwhile stop any medication if you are taking and increase your vitamin C content daily as it is considered to be best for prevention of bruises.

with good health wishes,
