What Is The Reason For Having Gas, Indigestion After Taking Glimisave M2 Tablet Prescribed For Diabetes And Pantosec-D For Gas?

hello doctor,

this is abhishek i have a query that my mother is diabetese and doctors recomond her to take glimisave m2 tablet(dosage- one & half a day) and also cunsult her to take pantosec-d for gas.

after taking this dosage her sugar level has been decrese but she has suffering from gas indegesion and she could not take a sleep in night. so plaese tell me what is the sympton cause behind this.

Hi
Generally anti diabetic drug it inhibits the enzyme for carbohydrate digestion in small intestine.
Due to which carbohydrate containing pood products remain undigesting causing the sugar to decrease in blood and producing gas in abdomen.
And to overcome gas problem she is taking pantosec-D. But actually it decreases acidity and nausea it does not decrease ga so you please consult your physician and get the drug changed.
