What Is The Reason For Hardness, Bruise In Between The Ribs?

I feel bruised to the touch in a small area in my upper tummy in between my ribs, it's kind of hard there too. I am overweight so normally my stomach is soft. I am a dancer and have recently done ab work as well as gotten over a stomach bug could I have pulled something or is this more serious? Also I am not pregnant

Hi. Your history of ab-work goes well with your history as the abdominal muscles start high up, where you have a pain. Stop ab for some time till completely cured.
Have hot fomentation and take an anti-inflammatory tables like ibuprofen to reduce the swelling and pain.
