What Is The Reason For Continued Hiccups After Starting With Amiodarone And Coreg With Lisinopril And Coumadin Therapy?

My husband had a cardiac angiogram yesterday with a DC cardioversion for treatment of his Atrial Fibrillation, which was successful. He began a new regimen of Amiodarone and Coreg last night along with his usual Lisinopril and Coumadin therapies. He began hiccuping at 8am today and has had intermittent episodes of hiccups (6-8 times) throughout the day.TUMS seem to help short term but he has taken an entire roll and the hiccups are now back. Any suggstions? Thank you.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really understand your concern, the reason behind the hiccup is hyper excitation of abdomen diaphragm the more acid secretion is the common cause of this but several other causes are there and some time it may be idiopathic, the exact cause of this is difficult to find out just wait and watch this will go away the antacid contains local anesthetic would help nicely try it good luck.
