What Is The Reason For Absence Of Periods 10 Months After Delivery?
No periods 10 months after delivery. I had a c-section last february. My stomach size is increasing day by day for the past 1 month. Is it normal? Immediately after delivery it was flat only. I had sex with my husband last june one time without any contraception. Also for the past two weeks i am having movements in stomach similar to baby kicks. I am also having less bowel movements (4 times a week) for the past two months. I am not having any other symptoms except these. Could i be pregnant again.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. It is possible to conceive after a delivery or abortion without attaining a menstrual period. This is enhanced with lactation, though it acts as a natural contraception by tending to delay ovulation, the ovulation which happens by chance if often ignored. You have to get a proper clinical appraisal, a sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route, a pregnancy test and plan further management according to the result. You may not have any specific symptoms during subsequent pregnancies and also, the fetal movements can be perceived earlier. Hope this helps.
