Hi,
Welcome to HCM!
I am sorry to hear about your kid's condition and wish him a speedy recovery.

Taxim-O is the name of Cefexime, a potent antibiotic belonging to the cephalosporin group.

This is a commonly used antibiotic to treat infections and is effective against a variety of micro-organisms.

Your doctor might have investigated your child's blood to rule our malaria or dengue.

Since those tests came negative, your doctor must have prescribed Taxim O to to fight against the microbes causing fever .

So don't worry. You child is being treated by a good antibiotic and will be fine soon.

WIshing him a speedy recovery.

Feel free to ask if you have any doubt.

Regards,
Dr. Sridhar Reddy
