What Is The Prognosis Of Lung Cancer With Brain Metastasis?

my wife 53yrs suffering from lung cancer, after pet ct scan it appears that it has been spread to brain and leg side, 8nos radio therapy and 15 oral camo tabs already been applied, the headace pain reduced, 2 camo through vane already given, 3rd wii be apply on2nd august, her hemoglobin comes down from 11.7to 9.1, doctors advice us to give 2bottle blood bfore the day of como, thewt of patient 72kg, if my wife be able to take 6nos cemo how long she will be able to stay with us

Your wife is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer since the tumour has spread to her brain.
Patients at this stage can only survive for 6 to 9 months even with chemotherapy.
The basic aim of treatment should be basic supportive care, palliative chemotherapy and radiation to brain at this stage to improve quality of life and prolong overall survival.
Aim of treatment now should only be palliation and not cure .
