what is preferred medication for post prostate radiation 3 years ago. is Flomax or rapaflow the most preferred or are they both th same family of drugs . your science and experience of which one is best. age 80, 150lbs,vegetarian. excellent health and exercise daily

Rapalow and Flomax have similar mode of action of relaxing smooth muscles in bladder neck and prostatic urethra.

You can take either of the two

Now a days we prefer to prescribe Rapaflow (Silodosin).which has minimum side effects compared to Flomax.
