What Is The Possibility Of Having Twins?

Hi I m 18 wks and has been experiencing a great deal of abdominal pain from the beginning, so today s Dr. Visit my uterus measured 21.3 centimeters. Is there a possibility I could be carring twins? Ultrasound is scheduled for next wensday just curious... Because so many of my friends have suggested I was having twins from the beginning, because of how quickly I belly expanded.

Hello..twins might be a possibility which can only be confirmed on an ultrasound..symptoms which suggest multiple pregnancy include more nausea and vomiting than normal, fast belly expansion..however in such early stages you can't be completely sure whether belly expansion is due to twins or rapid growth of your single baby..so be patient till your scan has been done..:)
