What Is The Piece Of Skin Hanging Near Tonsil?

I ve been having a problem with tonsil stones lately and today I noticed on my left tonsil towards the top and towards my mouth I have a little piece of skin hanging of that looks like it has a tonsil stone on it but I can t get it off and I don t know what the skin is that s hanging there. What is it and what should I do?

Hi , Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum .
As per your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having chronic tonsillitis with tonsil stones .
Hanging skin is a part of tonsil which is separated by tonsil crypts.

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice you
Use antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily .
You need to consult ENT specialist for examination & treatment .
