What Is The Permanent Solution For Intermittent Cough And Cold In The Child?

MY 4+ YRS. DAUGHTER OFTEN SUFFERS FROM COUGH N COLD AND DOCTOR PRESCRIBED ANTIBIOTICS EVERY TIME. RECENTLY SHE HAS ADVISED TO TAKE MONTAIR-4MG FOR ONE MONTH. EARLIER ALSO SHE TOOK MONTAIR LC KID FOR ALMOST 3 MONTHS. WHAT IS THE REMEDY OF HER PROBLEM AND IS THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OF THESE MEDICINES?

Thanks for the query.
It looks like she might be having some kind of allergy.
You can go for allergy testing to know the exact causative agent.
You need to avoid allergan like dust, cold, pollens etc.
Also do the blood test and x- ray if necessary after consulting with your doctor.
There are no serious side effects of the medicine you are taking.
And if the benefit outweighs the risk you may have to take it.
