It is important to keep the bowel
motility normal for a healthy feeling. A constipated person is prone to have gastric discomfort and feeling of
malaise off and on.
You have tried various
medications, which you say have not helped. In such a case, it is advisable to take organic bulk forming supports, e.g
psyllium husk in lukewarm milk daily or alternate day at night or kaolin preparations. In case these are unpalatable for you, you can try psyllium tablets also. For all practical purposes, even their long term use is harmless. You can gradually reduce once you benefit.
It would also be helpful to eat healthy eating habits, like salads, green leafy vegetables, choker mixed flour or semi-polished rice.
Yoga might be helpful.
for pain in knees, you need to have orthopedic examination, depending on your age. If females, an assessment of calcium and vitamin D levels and further replacement might be helpful.
