What Is The Pain While Swallowing Food With Ear Pain?
I am suffering swallowing pain around my thort area left side) over two month. no infection as my GP suggested and refered to specialist (waiting for the appointment now need another one month to see him). My left ear is also slightly painful. I feel the pain only when swallow without food. What is going on? worried

Hi, you might be having throat infection, or stylagia.
As your GP said if u dont have throat infection then your have referred pain to the ear with cause some where in the throat. Check with your dentist also. Even dental problem can cause ear pain.
Stylagia as I said is elongated styloid process present in the throat. This can be dtected on xray of throat.or C T scan, this cannot be picked up by GP.
So do consult ENT doctor only.
