Hi,

Measuring the uric acid in urine is done after collecting the urine of 24 hours and no special preparation is needed.

The levels of urine uric acid is considered elevated; further evaluations should be done:
- to exclude kidney stones of uric acid
- measure blood uric acid (to exclude gout)

If everything is ok,then, it might be related to high protein diet you are following.
