What Is The Normal Range Of Pus Cells ?

Hi Doctor, My baby is 8 month boy suffering from severe Urine infection 2nd time. He was prescribed Amakacin injection 100 mg / 2ml for 7 days twice daily. Now his latest Urine report after the injection course which got over today shows pus cell 5-6 /hpf. The doctor have again prescribed Amakacin injection 250 mg / 1ml again for 7 days one in a day. Please let me know the normal range of pus cells and also should i Continue this medicine

Hai... First thing is I need the earlier urine reports based on which treatment was started & what about fever & his symptoms like straining at urine or vomiting etc... Moreover 5-6 pus cells alone is not suggestive of urine infection. Other tests in urine like nitrites & leukocyte esterase are very important. Most importantly no antibiotics without a urine culture.
