What Is The Normal Blood Glucose Level During Pregnancy?

Hi! I am now 34 weeks pregnant and have Gestational Diabetes. My doctor prescribed me to take Insulin of 10u every morning before meal and 10u every night before meal. She also recommended that I use glucometer in monitoring my sugar level. May I ask every when should I be checking my sugar using the glucometer? Also, what is the normal glucose level for pregnant woman like me? I was advised to continue the insulin until I deliver my child. Please advise. Thank you.

Your glucose level should not go below 60 and beyond 140. Anything between that is fine.
Yes you have to continue your insulin throughout the pregnancy otherwise impaired glucose levels will harm your baby.
