What Is The Name Of Newly Approved Medicine Instead Of Oxycodone?

I heard that the FDA just recently approved a new pain drug that may be a better alternative to take then Oxycodone. That it works better then Oxycodone with fewer side effects. I m trying to find out what the name of this new drug is. I believe it is still in the OXY -line of meds. Do you know the name of this newly approved drug?

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I have read the query and is it Oxymorphone Hydrochloride extended release tablets you are looking out for?It is a long acting formulation with lesser adverse effects.Hydromorphone,Tapentadol,Methadone,Fentanyl are other medicines approved for pain relief.

I hope this is the drug you are looking out for.

Regards,
