What Is The Mucus In The Corner Of My Eye With Diabetes?

Ihave what I think is a bad cold with cough and slight fever. Mucus is thick but mostly clear. Have Mucus in the corner of one eye. with some accumulated at the base of the lashes. This eye mucus is my major concern. I am 91, have Type 2 diabetes which is controlled by diet & medication.

Hi,
from history it seems that you might be having Muco-purulant conjunctivitis giving rise this problem.
Clean the eyes with plane Luke worm water and put some antibiotic eye drops every 3-4 hourly.
If require go for one antibiotic medicine course for 3 days.
Ok and take care.
