Psychiatrist 's  Response
hi thanks for your query.you seem to suffer from sleep onset difficulty......since this is behaviour pattern of sleep disorder, i recommend both drug and drug free measures. non pharmacological measures include regular physical excercise, avoiding carbonated drinks at bed time, listening to music etc....find more of these on wikipedia sites.as far as drug therapy is considered i recommend tab lorazepam 1mg at 8 pm daily for 6 -8 months follwed by 0.5mg for another 3 months and then stopping the drug all together if sleep pattern improves.consult a psychiatrist for expert opinion .thank you
