I had gramstain last oct the result was gram negative coccobacilli, pus cell few, epithelial cel few, monilla. My doctor tells it was normal. And she do not prescribe any medicine. Id go home feeling depressing cause i fel uncomfortable with she tell. I fel itchy, frequency urine and burning snstion during urine. I want to know what does mean. My urine positive leukocyte and pus cell. 16 to 18 value. .
As you have mentioned pus cells 16-18 at the end along with leukocyte positive, it seems significant. Looks like you have urinary tract infection. You give a early morning urine sample for culture and sensitivity. That would be mOre precise. Wash external genitalia with soap and water. Don't use antiseptic. Now while passing urine, discard first one third of urine and then collect urine in a sterile container. Sterile container is available with labs. Give for culture. If that turns out to be negative, it's fine but growth in urine has to be treated with appropriate antibiotics. .
