What Is The Meaning Of The ECG Result?

hi, i am a 34 yrs old female who just got her ecg done....the reading are as follows vent rate: 78bpm PR int: 119ms QRS duration: 80ms qt/qtc: 361/395 ms P-R-T axes: 38 75 44 sinus rhythm with sinus arrhythmia with short PR interval borderline ecg interpretation based on a default age of 40yrs I was asked to get an cervical spine x-ray and a brain MRI done....cud u enlighten me as to what my ecg exactly says...

Let me solve your queries one by one.

1. Ventricular rate - normal
2. QRS duration - normal
3. QTc - normal
4. Axis - normal
5. PR interval - slightly decreased (normal : 120-200 ms)
6. Sinus arrythmia - The normal increase in heart rate that occurs during inspiration (when you breathe in). This is a natural response.

There is nothing to worry.

I would suggest you to go on with the cervical Spine X-ray and the MRI brain and not worry about the ECG.
