I were your doctor, on no improvement of the condition after one to two weeks of antibiotics,I would have sent you either to an ENT specialist or a general surgeon, who could examine you clinically to rule out any kind of pathology of the all the organs in neck region and oral cavity which drains into the cervical lymph nodes apart from doing a systemic examination as well. He might go for some investigations like a fine needle aspiration cytology, a CT scan of the cervical and oral region if need be. The management would depend on the reports of the investigations. I would suggest you not to waste time, and immediately report to such a specialist for a clinical examination and further management. If you smoke or take any kind of tobacco products, please discontinue it with immediate effect.
