What Is The Line Of Treatment After Dog Bite?
hi! i got bit by my pet dog 2 days ago who is under vaccination process (he has been given 3 injections and 2 are still due). I have got an antirabies and tetanus injection.He bit me on my right feet and i have many bite marks. My foot is all swelled up and i have great pain and am unable to walk. I have a deep cut around my ankle and blood is still oozing out of it. How long would it be for me to be able to walk a little? I am 17 years old.

Dear Friend since its a pet dog and already vaccinated you are safe from rabies.Next coming to your wound if its very deep wound until your ligaments it may take one month and you should not move your leg much.if the wound is only muscle deep you will be fine in 2 weeks.Are you getting any fever and dressing done to your wound or no..kindly let me know.its always better to do dressing and don't let the wound get contaminate with dust and soil.meet you doctor for pain killers and doctor may consider use of antibiotics for infection if present.
