What Is The Likelihood Of Getting Glaucoma?

Hello, I had a red mark on the crease of my eyelid and I visited the doctor who told me it was eczema. I got prescribed Fucidin H cream ( 2% Fusidic Acid and 1% hydrocortisone). After applying it I noticed the leaflet said to take care if the cream is used near your eyes, as it may lead to Glaucoma. This has made me a bit nervous now incase I use it and it gets in my eyes. what is the likelihood of getting glaucoma from this cream.
Thankyou

Hello
It seems from the history that you are prescribed with Fucidin H cream containing hydrocortisone.
It is true that long term use of steroid containing preparations is associated with development of glaucoma. But it is common following use of eye drops, applying steroid creams to eye lid is associated with nil or very minimal risk of development of glaucoma.
Hence no need to worry.

Thank you
