What Is The Life Expectancy With 80% Carotid Artery Blockage?
My mother is 87, had double bypass heart surgery 24 years ago and a mild heart attack 2 yrs. ago. Her one carotid artery has 80% blockage and the other over 50 %. Her dementia is moderate to a bit higher. She is on Plavix, metaprolol and other blood pressure meds. What is her life expectancy ?

Hello.It is difficult to establish their life expectancy but the riskhis mother suffered a stroke(with high mortality) is very high.Besides his advanced age complicates their situation.
