What Is The Life Expectancy Of Someone With End Stage Wet Brain Syndrome?

my best friend is a 55 yr old female; alcoholic for all her adult life, tonight diagnosed in the e.d. with late stage wet brain. she has been referred to a neurologist; but I saw this coming 2 yrs ago when I begged her to go into recovery. now it s too late. I just wonder...how long does she realistically have to live? she won t quit drinking, I might add.

accorfing to the history patient is at Korsakoff psychosis. Prognosis is grim for these patients. If not treated will die soon
