What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person With 25% Working Heart?
Hi, My father just came out of surgery he had an ICD put on today, 3 days ago after his cardia cath we were told only 20 to 25 percent of his heart was working. he has had 4 bypasses about 20 years ago and only 1 artery of the 4 bypass is functioning. He has been convulsing since yesterday, yet his resp rate is normal, blood pressure is WNL. any comments on life expectancy? or what to expect? do we have other options? Thanks
