What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person Suffering With Angina?

Hi. I am 44 and went through the menopause at the age of 31. I now live in France and six months ago I was taken to hospital and 2 stents were put in. I had had a heart attack and have been diagnosed with angina. I am now on multiple medication and check ups. I have been told that this is due to my early menopause and although I used to take HRT in the UK when I moved to France 8 years ago was unable to get a doctor to perscribe it to me. My life has completely changed, I suffer with anxiety every day and cannot concentrate on anything but the angina. What is the normal life expectancy of someone of my age with angina? Many thanks

HI WELCOME TO HCM.
The normal life expectancy for people who were diagnosed angina vary largely between 40-80% .Since you were managed with 2 stents the outcome of 5 year survival rate would be higher. In the absence of any co existent infection this would be 60-80%.HRT is generally known to worsen cardiovascular disorder.surviving beyond the 6 th decade is high in your case and ranges between 70-80%.Consult your gynecologist for better hormonal treatments.Have a semi annual check up for 2Decho.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
Thank you
