What Is The Life Expectancy In Case Of Leaking Bicuspid Valve?

My mother, age 87, had mitral valve repair about 4 years ago. Now her bicuspid valve is leaking badly. She also has pulmonary hypertension, and becomes short of breath often. What can I expect as far as how long she can survive with this condition? The doctor said she is not a candidate for surgery to correct this.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in this age of 87 years old with valvular heart disease nothing much can be done as long as the surgery is concern, Left ventricular function is matter of concern, if is okay then condition can be managed with medical treatment else this would be very uncertain to say anything about the prognosis because she already completed the normal average life span, hope this information helps, take care.
