What Is The Life Expectancy After Three Heart Attacks?

A very good friend of mine has had three heart attacks. One was from the widow maker, which was 96% blocked. He had 3 stents placed and was put on multiple meds. He failed his stress test shortly after he was discharged and is now having cp, sob and overall weakness. These heart attacks occured about 1 year ago. How long does he have to live if the doctors say there is nothing else they can do? Is there anything else they can do?
