What Is The Home Remedy For A Sore Throat That Hurts?

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and for the past 4 nights I've had a very bad sore throat to the point where it hurts to talk or swallow. Should I call my doctor or is there anything I can do at home to get rid of it? I've already tried warm liquids and its still there

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
A sore throat is an inflammation of the throat that’s painful and reddened, and may lead to trouble swallowing and even breathing.
Try natural remedies like a saltwater gargle or hot water mixed with honey and lemon; if those don’t help, you can take acetaminophen for the pain.
If your symptoms are severe or last more than 24 hours, talk to your doctor.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
