What Is The Healing Period For Burn From Heating Pad And What Is The Treatment For Scabs?
I had a burn from heating pad a couple of weeks ago on my back. I had taken an antibiotic in the beginning from a doctors prescription. A couple of scabs have formed, some spots are still sore. How long will it take to heal and how do you treat the scabs?

You might have developed superficial burn due to heating pad. And the area may be secondarily infected by bacteria. That has followed by scab formation. You do not worry. The scabs may be cleared in few days to few weeks after taking antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs. Do not use hot pad again. You may be alright. I hope you got my answer.
