What Is The Estimated Date Of Delivery?

Hi, Dr. Samuel,

Hope your are doing good. mY WIFE IS 34 WEEKS & 6 DAys pregnant. She just went trough an ultasound today which shows single fetus in cephalic position. All the other scan studies are normal 7 perfectly normal. The fetus weighs 2054 grams & has 128BPM. Please suggest on the weight of fetus. And a crude estimation of the DOD as i am in offshore overseas and would love to be with her during her delivery.

hi healthcare magic user,
yes ultrasound weight for baby is perfectly normal.
please get pelvic ultrasound with color Doppler for fetal well being as you are traveling.
if labor pains starts delivery can occur anytime.
if Labour pain between 37week to 40weeks occur no issue baby is fully matured by the time.
early delivery can occur if their is early rupture of the water bag.
