What Is The Duration Of Taking Torus And Ursoliv For High Cholestrol, HDL And LDL?

A blessed day, I am a 50 years old women starting menopause on September 2013,I have an annual check up but for this year since I have no more menstruation and the blood test examination is not quite good for some results, my cholesterol is 212.90 mg/dL,HDL 81.40 mg/dL,LDL 109 mg/dL and SGPT 47 U/L. My doctor advised me to take 20 g of torus 1 tablet at night for cholesterol ,80 tablets and ursoliv 250g 1 tablet at night for sgpt,80 tablets also,please comment on the duration of taking that medicine for the result of my blood test,thank you very much

Dear I read your scenario. Your cholesterol level is not so much high and it is fortunate for you that you have high LDL which is not more dangerous than HDL. SO you should take lipid lowering drugs and should do work up and follow up your cholestrole blood level unless and until it becomes normal. Thanks for asking. If you have any problem regarding this issue then you can ask otherwise you should concern to near by doctor.
