Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
A Frozen Shoulder is due to the joint capsule and Muscles around the shoulder joint becoming contracted and tight, thus limiting the movements around the shoulder and stiffening it. It can take more than 12 months to recover, sometimes upto 18 mths. The mainstay of treatment is physiotherapy daily to hasten recovery. Glucosamine ( Mega free Flex tabs) will not achieve much and not really what you need daily. You should consult a Physiotherapist and get yourself a shoulder exs schedule for range- of -motion exs. Initially it will be painful to do, but gets easier with time. Hot water fomentation twice a day can also help. Since there is actually no joint damage in frozen shoulder, the joint will eventually recover fully.
