What Is The Dosage Of Wysolone?

7 yr back I had heart attack and immediate treatment during attack in a cardiac hospital. 6 months later Doctor refused angioplasty due to Low platelets = 98. Since then platelets ranged from 102 to 126 and presently at 164. I have mild diabetes and age is 70. Yesterday I went under FFA test for the eyes due some blurdness. Exact diagnosis yet to be made. Can I go for Wysolone and What dosage ?

I have infrequent heart pains but much weakness and congestion.
In November last I had a Cardiac check from another hospital and the doctor did not advise for angioplasty.

Hello,
Although steroids tend to flare up the blood sugar levels but in case of absolute necessity,it is given with proper cover by necessary antidiabetic medications.
Doses and duration for wysolone or any other steroid is not fixed and has tobe decidedly the treating doctor considering the situation of patient.
Let your doctor decide,the dose of WYSOLONE,as he is the best judge.
