What Is The Dosage Of Primolut N?
My periods are overdue by 4 days and am getting married in 3 days. Have a lot of problem during my periods so consulted a gynae for delaying. Have been suggested to take primolut N . pls let me know if it is ok to have it for 15-20 days. Will not be able to bear the periods during my wedding.. kindly advise

Primolut-N i.e. norethisterone 5 mg is a potent drug (hormonal )advised for postponement of menstruation .
Dosage are:5 mg tid starting 3 days before expected onset of menstruation.
Side effects are many but if used for prolong period.
Side effects: mental depression, nausea , vomiting, dizziness breast discomfort acne , urticaria and many more . Take 1-2 days but if you feel side effects ( unbearable ) stop , otherwise take it for marriage ceremony .
