What Is The Discolored Mole?

I have a raised mole that itched one day and the next day it looked black & blue; it has bruising-like colors that spread around the outside of the mole. It doesn't itch anymore but is still discolored. Is it just irritated or do I need to go see a dermatologist?

Hi,

You seem to have melanocytic nevus. As you said of discoloration of the lesion, you consult dermatologist to rule out malignant melanoma. As there is bruise due to itching of unknown reason, you might have developed color difference. Take antihistaminics like levocetirizine. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
