Both have same mechanism of action to reduce bladder spasms. They can cause side effects like urinary retention, blurring of vision, constipation as well.

Both are similar in their mechanisms of action and side effects. Darifenacin has been promoted as being more 'elderly and cardiac friendly' but I as a urologist have not noted significant differerence.
