What Is The Diet Plan For Pneumonia?

my daughter is nine years she is suffering from wheezing we consult adoctor and he done some test absolute eosinophil count 470 and immunoglobulin -e 155.9 and in x-ray test he said cold highly in her lungs i want to know how to keep my daughter and what kind of food given to her.

Thanks for your question on HCM. There is no special dietery precautions for pneumonia. Give her plenty of fluids. Avoid cold and frozen foods like ice cream, cold drinks etc. Take nutritional food like pulses, vegetables, fruit juices etc. Avoid oily and spicy food as this can aggravate gastritis. And antibiotics given in pneumonia can also cause gastritis. Get done repeat chest x ray and blood count after completion of treatment. If all improving than no need to worry. Pneumonia treatment takes 12-15 days.
