What Is The Diagnosis For Prolonged Spotting Without Normal Menstruation?

hi,
on the 30th of jan, which was my usual period time but on the other hand i started spotting for 7 days with no pain at all. i thought i was pregnant but both tests after 7-10 tests (home test and blood test) were negative. my gyno prescribed primolut 10 mg- a tablet a day for 7 days. she said that it is kind of a test: you either get ur period after 7 days of the tablets or she will check if im pregnant again. from the posts i am lost ..some say that primolut is for delaying periods others say it is for my situation..could you please tell me if i was diagnosed properly and that the test is true/ i care more about my health now rather than getting pregnant...

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
your blood tests are negative for pregnancy then chance of pregnancy is rare. I would recommend that you take primolut as recommended. You should get your period
After you stop the medicine.
the medicine does'nt affect your health.
